Dr. Rajkrishnan’s Dental Clinic, established in 1995 at Tripunithura, which has made tremendous progress in dental tourism sector in a short span, has achieved ISO 9001-2000 certification. In a ceremony held at Le Meridian, Kochi, CEO, Dr. Rajkrishnan.C, accepted the ISO certificate from B Suman IAS, Tourism Director.
With world class technology, state-of-the-art equipment and service of expert professionals, the clinic has attracted the attention of foreigners and Indians alike.
Dr Rajkrishnan who conceived the idea of dental tourism in 1997 has sensed the interest of foreigners in Kerala as health tourism destination and has been a pioneer in promoting the same.
Dental treatment charges are high and waiting list is long in foreign countries. At the cost of a single procedure abroad, a patient can complete his dental treatment and have a nice vacation in India. Apart from that the satisfaction and confidence derived from availing treatment with latest technology and professionalism attracts foreigners to Kerala. This knowledge was the basic reason for Dr. Rajkrishnan to conceive the concept of dental tourism.
Participation in tourism expos in India and abroad has given Dr. Rajkrishnan the opportunity to understand the interest of foreigners in Kerala and their positive response to the treatment methodology practiced here. This has immensely encouraged Dr. Rajkrishnan to actively promote dental tourism.
“If all the dental clinics in Kerala achieve world class technology and come forward in this field, it can promote Kerala as the best destination in the world for dental treatment”, said Dr. Rajkrishnan.
Navas Meeran, Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Kerala Chapter and Mr. Ajeshkumar from BVQI offered felicitations at the function. Many invited guests and clientele from India and abroad attended the function.
